Ellen Louise Teetor, age 78, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  She was born August 1, 1942, and raised in Point Pleasant, to James Owen and Bonnie Plants.  She was a 1960 graduate of PPHS, where she was a member of the high school band, and would play taps for military services.  After graduation, she worked for several local businesses.

She married Leonard Lee Reed, from Pomeroy, and had two daughters, Sandra and Lisa.  After her marriage ended, she met and married Wayne Teetor, who was enlisted in the Air Force.  The family traveled and lived at various bases in the states, as well as Europe.  After Wayne retired, they settled back in Point Pleasant.  Louise was employed at Fruth Pharmacy and worked there for over 15 years.  After retiring, she was a homemaker.  Louise loved her family and enjoyed family get-togethers and cookouts.  Louise was an avid bingo player.  She had many friends and extended family and was affectionately known as "grammy" to her grandkids and so many of their friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Isaac "Louie" Plants and Owen "Gene" Plants; a daughter, Sandra Leigh Baker; and grandson, James "Jimmy" Grimes.  She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wayne Teetor; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa (Matt) Musgrave; sister, Linda Craig; brother and sister-in-law, Jim (Marcia) Plants; sister-in-law, Jean Plants; grandchildren, Leigh Musgrave, Ian Musgrave, April (Will) Alexander; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Forest Hills Cemetery, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating.  Crow-Hussell Funeral Home is caring for the Teetor family.
