Enabelle (Cheney) See, of Point Pleasant, passed away Sunday, December 07, 2008, at her home. She was 84 years old. She was a loving mother and a dear friend to many. She was retired from the Lakin State Hospital and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #23 of Point Pleasant.
She was born July 20, 1924, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to the late John and Georgia Cheney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell M. See; her daughter, Sharon Lyn See; two brothers, Ray and Junior Cheney; and her sister, Lil Cheney.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Russell "Rusty" See, Carl "Smokey" and Charlena See and Marshall R. "Stormy" and Tara See, all of Point Pleasant; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her sister, Dottie Locke and brother, Carl Cheney, both of Gallipolis.
A celebration of Enabelle's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Carl "Boxer" Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, December 9, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
