Epaminondas "Epa" Rollins, age 85, of Letart, WV, passed away on Thursday evening, February 4, 2016, at his home, with his family surrounding him. He was retired from the City of Point Pleasant and attended Pleasant Valley and Harvey Chapel Churches. Epa was born on September 14, 1931, in Leon, a son to the late Harvey and Serenna (McDade) Rollins. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-son, Brian "Doodle" Stephens; brothers, Wade, Charlie, Boyd, Jesse and Delbert Rollins; sisters, Gladys Hart, Virginia Thomas, Janice Jenkins, Hazel Mattox, Bess Wilson, Peggy Jordan and Esther Hook.
Epa is survived by his wife, Cora (Roush) Stephens Rollins; children, Randy Allen Rollins, of Leon and Darlene Kay Blankenship, both of Leon, Vicky Lynn Hite, of Marietta, OH and Penny Renee Rollins, of Point Pleasant; step-children, Randy Stephens, of West Columbia, Tammy Stephens and Patty Lambert, both of Leon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Josephine Fooce, of Letart.
Epa's life will be remembered at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2016, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Burial will be held privately.
