Obituary

Esther Frances Hogsett, 54, passed away on Monday night, November 19, 2012, shortly after 10:00 p.m., at Hubbard House, Charleston.

She was born on July 20, 1958, in Huntington, a daughter of the late William Henry and Inex Louise (Monroe) Hogsett. She played the piano and loved music. She attended Calvary United Methodist Church, which was very important to her and attended as much as she could. She had several physical challenges in this life and in spite of that, she always wanted to be home. She loved her own home and her cats. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two brothers and one sister, Bill Hogsett and his wife, Charlene, of Milford, Ohio and Betty McCoy, of Point Pleasant, Jim Hogsett and his wife, Charlotte, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and their daughters, Stephanie and Kimberly; many cousins, devoted friends, including Curtis Snyder and his daughter, Beverly Segsworth.

Graveside services are being conducted on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at the Suncrest Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest along with her aunt, Johnnie Monroe.
