A few things you may or may not know about Frances, Frankie, Aunt Frank, mom, or just plain and perfect Granny.
She was the first baby of the year 1936 born in Gallia County, Oh.
She was one fun person to be around! She could and would laugh about everything. ( she's probably laughing at or saying "Oh Poodle" about something right now).
She faithfully attended church and raised he family there in.
She gave birth to her second child on her own birthday, what a birthday present!!
She really didn't like to travel much, but she sure did a lot of it and she liked to fish
She would always show off to the kids her dance moves doing The Charleston, something her mom taught her.
She loved to sing and could sing anything..... She knew, made up or had a cute little song about everything:)
She loved going to church, yard sales, playing in the water,(as long as her head did not go under she loved it).
Her and grandpa had life long friends and adventure partners in Clarence and Ruth Ellen Hash.
She had a very special life long friend in Mary Barr Ward, this was an honory pair in such a perfect way true best friends.
Clear up until she had her brain surgery she and Mary would sit in the back section and chatter at church, they would get those looks to be quite, but of course that didn't help much with this fearless duo.
She used to take her turn in driving the local kids around, on one adventure they was running a little late and Hot Dog while just a little fellow would yell out "stretch those little feet Frankie, stretch those little feet".
For years she would drive the kids to and from church, we all loved her unconditionally.
She wore turtlenecks no matter what the weather, She always dressed what she felt was appropriate Christian attire. A true Godly woman her entire life!
We still don't know if she was a bad shot or really just didn't want to hit those cute little deer each year. We just know the deer were safe when in here sights.
Dad kept flowers for mom, even when just wildflowers, you would always find fresh flowers on granny's table. She truly loved them.
Memories now are all we have and they are all good ones, I can't think of a bad memory of my MOM!
