Frances E. (Neal) Saunders, 82, of Point Pleasant, went to be with her Lord on Thursday morning, February 11, 2010, at the Overbrook Rehabilitation Center, in Middleport. She was a retired bookkeeper with the United States Government in Detroit and she was also a christian. Born June 5, 1927, in Huntington, WV, she was a daughter to the late James E. and Stella (Drake) Neal, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Glenn Saunders; her brother, James E. Neal, Jr. and her nephew, Roger Hall, whom she loved as her son.

Surviving are her sister, Lera Hall, of New Haven; special niece and nephew whom she loved as if they were her own children, Dave and Susan Hall, of New Haven; special friend and caregiver, Wanda Oliver and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frances' life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens. At her request, there will be no visitation.
