Fred William Gaul Jr. age 71 of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Sunday July, 29, 2018 at The Arbors of Gallipolis.  Fred was born June 20, 1947 in Lancaster, PA. to the late Fred William Gaul and Phyllis Mae (Sines).

After graduating high school and attending college, Fred became a CDI Account Manager and he was also a gifted musician and served as the Organist at The First Presbyterian Church, in Charleston, WV and locally at Christ Episcopal Church and many years ago at the First Church of God.  Besides his parents, Fred is preceded in death by special friend, Maurice "Todd" Mayes.

Fred is survived by his son; Will (Maria) Gaul III, grandchildren, Lee and Caden Gaul, his sister, Sharon Sturgeon and brother; Kevin (Linda) Gaul; also surviving
are nieces, Vicki (Gene) Wolford, Katie Ebert, Kim (Shawn) Bryant and many other nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family that will deeply miss him.

Services for Fred will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, at 1:00 p.m., with visitation held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.  Interment will be held at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.

In Lieu of Flowers the family requests the donations be made in Fred's honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. JDRF's mission is to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes and its complications through research and support.
