Gerald David "Jerry" Mollett, 73, of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, May 4, 2017, at CAMC Memorial Division. He was retired from Verizon and Fibernet-Luomos and was a Baptist by faith. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #731.

Jerry was born May 21, 1943, in Dayton, OH, a son to the late Quentin and Mollett and Gaynele (Pelfrey) Foglesong. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a great-grandchild; Aurora Nicole Mollett.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline K. "Jackie" (Cornelius) Mollett; sons, Jerry David Mollett, of Point Pleasant and Michael Allen Mollett, of Bidwell, OH; grandchildren, Robert, Gerald David, Jessica and Josh Mollett; and great-grandchildren, Damon Mollett, Lola Mollett, Makayla Mollett and Zayden Mollett.

There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, in Cheshire. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
