Glenna Mae (Walker) Roe, 86, of Vinton, OH, passed into her Savior's arms on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Holzer Senior Care, in Gallipolis, with her family by her side. She was a homemaker loving wife, mother and grandmother and a member of the New Hope Bible Baptist Church. She was born on September 22, 1926, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Jesse and Rebecca (Morrow) Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Roe; step-mother, several sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her children, Lennie and Janet Roe, of Barboursville, WV, Janie Randolph, of Gallipolis, Harrison and Phyllis Roe, of Point Pleasant, Carrie and David Scragg, of Belpre, OH, Mollie and Steve Sanders, of Point Pleasant, Joe and Tammie Roe, of Vinton and Ammon and Edith Roe, of Vinton; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two half-sisters, Ellen and Judy; and four half-brothers, Ernie, Elmer, Tom and Pearl.
Glenna's life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson and Rev. Greg Creasy officiating. Burial will follow in the Austin-Hope-McLeod Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
