Guadalupe M. Lopez, age 86, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed into the care of his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the Overbrook Nursing Center, in Middleport, Ohio. He was a farmer and a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenter's Local #409 and Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters. He was also a member of the First Church of God. He was born June 22, 1931, in Riverside, CA, a son to the late Pascual and Leonor (Moreno) Lopez. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Elvira G. (Gomez) Lopez.

Lupe is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Anna Maria and Jim Butler, of Henderson, WV and Maria Isabel G. Lopez, of Phoenix, AZ; his two grandchildren, Blayne and Kayla Butler; and his sister and brother-in-law, Nellie and Nacho Hernandez, of Phoenix, AZ.

Lupe's life will be celebrated on Friday, March 30, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Church of God, Point Pleasant, with Pastor Bob Patterson and Rev. Carl Swisher officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park, Ontario, CA, at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions in Lupe's memory be made to one of the following: First Church of God Youth Fellowship, 2401 Jefferson Ave., Point Pleasant, WV 25550; or to any Traumatic Head Injury or Dementia Research Organizations of your own choosing.
