Harriet Lewis Cruickshanks (Mrs. William) passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Hospice of Southwest Ohio, Maderia, Ohio. Harriet was a retired manager of job services for the West Virginia Department of Employment Security. She was a lifelong member of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Col. Charles Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was born in Point Pleasant, the daughter of the late Harry F. Lewis and Loula G. Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Cruickshanks, her son William M. Cruickshanks Jr. (Buzz), son-in-law Arthur Sanders (Jamie), her brother Harry Lewis, and sisters Virginia Anderson and Mary Brown.

She is survived by her daughter Lynn, son-in-law Joe McCullough, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew.

The family will hold graveside service at Lone Oak Cemetery beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Dr. John Franklin officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
