Helen D. (Rogers) Pearson, 92, of Henderson, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at her home.  She was born January 6, 1929, in Henderson, a daughter of the late Chester and Glenna (Ord) Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Landis W. Pearson, son-in-law, Doug Childers; grandson, Justin Childers; and siblings, Barbara Wickline and Russell Rogers.  She was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ and was a retired postmaster of the Henderson Post Office.  She was also a cook at the Henderson Grade school.

Helen is survived by her children, Joan Childers, of Point Pleasant, Stephen (Yvonne) Pearson and Monty (Sarah) Pearson, all of Henderson; grandchildren, Meredith, Andy, Wayne, Will, Monica, Barry, Cody, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Gage, Marlee, Brycen, Brooks. Braylee, Connor, Archie, Corbin, Wyatt, Colton, Dryden, Tristan, Brody, West and Hannah; sister, Carol (John) Taylor, of Point Pleasant; and many extended family; and her fur-baby, Molly.

There will be a graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2021, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, with Bill Deem, Minister, officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
