Howard W. Cheesebrew, 94, of Point Pleasant, went to be with the Lord and his beloved Marjorie, Tuesday evening, April 15, 2008, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was retired from M&O Dredging in Pittsburgh, PA as a supervisor, a member of Bellemead United Methodist Church and was a WWII Navy Veteran.
He was born, November 17, 1913, in Point Pleasant, to the late John S. and Viola E. (Mackley) Cheesebrew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie (Rainey) Cheesebrew and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Carl Sibley and Judy and B.R. Williams all of Point Pleasant; one sister, Hilda Goodman and one brother, Donald Cheesebrew both of Point Pleasant; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Robert L. Patterson, II., officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Route 62 North, near Point Pleasant. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
