Jack B. Sheline, 76, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, passed away on June 22, 2010, at the V.A. Medical Center, in Huntington, following a brief illness. He was born September 7, 1933, on Redmond Ridge, in Gallipolis Ferry, a son to the late Claude D. and Oma (Wamsley) Sheline. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jack B. Sheline, Jr., of Gallipolis Ferry; and a brother, Kenton Sheline, of Point Pleasant.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Humphreys) Sheline; a son, Jay (Stephanie) Sheline, of Point Pleasant; a step-daughter, Leigh (Drew) Knazek; four grandchildren, Brittany Buskirk, Justin Sheline, Andrew and Katie Knazek; one brother, Kermit Sheline; three sisters, Reba Lovejoy, Irene (Clayton) Hesson and Brenda (Jim) McCausland; several nieces and nephews; and his K-9 buddy, "Charlie Brown".

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at Sheline Family Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Jack will be loved and missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mason County Animal Shelter, in Jack's memory.
