James L. Knapp age 66 of Point Pleasant, passed away Thursday July 16, 2015 at Hospice of Huntington with family at his side.

Jimmy enjoyed working with his sawmill and antique tractor, and during the Spring and Summer he could be found in his oversized vegetable garden that he took great pride in. He loved his family and friends, but mostly his grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Katie and Larry Schwartz, April and Jason Matherly, James Knapp and Cathy Schwartz, Jacob Knapp, Harland and Elizabeth Knapp; Grandchildren Ruby and Leslie Schwartz, Destiny and Dawson Matherly, Cheyann and James Knapp, and Zoey and Cole Knapp; great-grandson Keagan Fielder; first wife and friend Beulah Knapp; four brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday July 20, 2015 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home from 6-8. Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Michael Chapman will be Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home beginning at 12 PM with full military honors by American Legion Post #23.
