Captain James Maxwell Reynolds age 83 of Gallipolis Ferry, WV passed away Saturday December 25, 2021 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV. James was a retired boat Captain with the Ohio River Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Henderson, WV.

James is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Mae Reynolds, brother Sonny Reynolds, half-brother, Tom Roach, half-sister, Betty Wallis, brother-in-law's; Jack Austin and Demar Call.

He is survived by his son, James Michael and Kim Reynolds of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, grandchildren J.T. Reynolds of Point Pleasant and Jesse Reynolds of Charleston, WV, great-grandchildren; Jace, River and Rylin Jo Reynolds, Brother; Johnny (Sue) Reynolds of Gallipolis Ferry, WV half-sisters; Charlene Koeing of Crescent, PA and Phyllis Roach of Henderson, WV sisters-in-law; Frona Call, Clinetta Austin both of Gallipolis Ferry and Marlene Reynolds of Point Pleasant.

Per his request there will be a private graveside service Tuesday at Kirkland Memorial Gardens for the family.
