James F. Wamsley, 65, of Leon, WV, went to be with his Lord, on Friday, April 23, 2010, at the VA Medical Center, in Huntington. James was a member of the Addison Freewill Baptist Church and had worked at WV Malleable Iron, Federal Mogul, Asplundh Tree Co. and most recently as a caregiver with the Mason County Community Action Group. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.

James was born March 4, 1945, in Point Pleasant, a son to the late Lewis and Oma (Mash) Wamsley. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Parrish, of Smithfield, NC; sons, Christopher Charles Lee and Kenneth Paul Lee, both of Belmont, WV; two sisters, Barbara Hensley, of Longbottom, OH and Shirley Chattin, of Columbus, OH; and several grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Brewer Cemetery, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
