Jason Ray Chapman, age 25, of Leon, WV, joined his grandpas in Heaven on Saturday, August 30, 2025, as a result of a SXS accident.

He was born June 2, 2000, in Gallipolis, OH, a son to JR and Tabitha (Hart) Chapman, and the best big brother around to his baby sister, Emily Chapman.

Jason was a Blue Hat at Toyota WV Plant in Buffalo, WV, something that he and his family was very proud of. Jason left this world doing what he loved, helping others and riding with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandpas, Verlin "Sampy" Hart and Charles Chapman.

Jason leaves behind his parents, Jr and Tabitha Chapman, baby sister Emily Chapman, great-grandma Dottie Hart, maternal grandparents, Darlene (Lee) Roach, paternal grandmother, Holly Chapman, aunts and uncles, Ashley (Tyler) Cline, Leah (Tyler) Tucker, and Mooch (Faith) Chapman, his cousins, Jada, Kaylee, Hudson, Parker and Berkley.

He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Brandie and his "Brothers" Dustin, Josh, Dakota and Koonz along with a host family and friends.

Jason was loved by so many, to know him was to love him.

Services for Jason will be at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, with visitation from 1-3 and funeral services officiated by Pastor Jimmy Jordan beginning at 3:00. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
