Jeffrey L. Thomas 57 of Point Pleasant, Wv passed away, Tuesday July 10, 2012, in Homerville, Ga. Jeff was driving for Sammons Trucking, and passed away while doing what he loved.

Jeff was born in Niles, Mi. the son of William and Marguerite Murry Thomas, he travelled a lot while growing up, which helped lead him to a career of keeping America moving as a truck driver.

Jeff was a very caring and loving man, by his own words, he felt as though he had been born 100 years late, for he was a man of hard work and keeping things simple. He believed that a man was only as good as his word, and it was a mans job to care and provide for his family.

Jeff was a very private man with a very giving spirit, a man that was truly loved by all that had the pleasure to know him.

He leaves behind his "Rose" loving wife Penny, three daughters Rachel, Kristin Cochran, and Brittany Farley, the three joys in his life, grandkids, Crimson and Trystin Cochran, and Wyatt Newsom. Jeff is also survived by a sister, Cindy Bennett, and a brother, David.

He is proceeded in death by his father and one brother, Kenneth.

The service will be private at the request of the family.

The care for Jeff has been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
