Jeffrey Shane Zembry, 49, of Rockwell, N.C., and formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Carolina Caring in Newton. Born May 9, 1970 in Charleston, W. VA, he was the son of the late Carol Lynn Zembry and John Louis Zembry. Jeff grew up in Point Pleasant, W. VA and after graduating from Point Pleasant High School, he attended Marshall University. He worked as a grower in the horticulture industry in Charlotte. His passions included his work with flowers, photography, fishing and his many loyal friends. As he and his sister journeyed together through his illness, Jeffs moto could well have been "live for the day".

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Kimberly Z. Weaver and husband Jason, two nieces, Savannah Weaver and Charlotte Weaver all of Hickory, and his longtime girlfriend, Maribeli Jose of Concord.

There will be a graveside memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating.
