Jimmy Allen Douglas' Obituary
Jimmy Allen Douglas, 68, of Leon, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009, at his home, following a long illness.
Jimmy attended Bethel Church on Leon-Baden Road and had worked for WV Malleable Iron and Lannes Williamson Pallets. Born April 4, 1941 in Arbuckle, WV, he was a son to the late William and Lucy (Smith) Douglas.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Violet (Pierson) Douglas; his sons, Ray and Gary Douglas, of Leon; his brother, Brycle Douglas, of Rockport, WV and his sister, Margaret Pickens, of Leon.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. James H. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Yauger Cemetery, in Leon. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Church, c/o Dian Matheny, Treasurer, at 5812 Leon-Baden Road, Leon, WV 25123.
