Jimmy Richard Roush, 63, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday morning, April 25, 2011, at the VA Medical Center, in Lexington, KY. Jimmy was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was an electrician and contractor. He loved his family and had a passion for golfing. Jimmy was born on May 12, 1947, in Gallipolis, a son to the late Dennis Roush, Jr. and Irene (Duff) Roush, of Point Pleasant.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his companion of many years, Sandi Darnbrough, of Gallipolis; his sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Christina Roush, of Columbus and Chad and Natasha Roush, of Wasilla, Alaska; the children of his companion Sandi, whom he loved as his own, Gwynne and Joey Darnbrough; grandchildren, Zachary, Jake, Bradford, Joshua and Sunshine Roush and Joey Darnbrough; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Valeria Roush, of Point Pleasant; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Matt Smith, of Clarksburg; and friend and mother of his children, Karen Roush, of Homer, Alaska.

Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Morgan Cemetery, in Leon, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the American Legion, Mason County Post #23. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
