Joan Sue (Byus) Roach, 71, of West Columbia, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at her home. She was born November 19, 1944, in Point Pleasant, a daughter to the late John "Mutt" and Freda Byus, of Point Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil "Bill" Byus and Randy Byus; sister, Teresa Barnett; and grandson, Crandale Roach.

Sue is survived by her husband, Melvin "Bub" Roach, of West Columbia; sons, Melvin "Lee" and Darlene Roach, John William Roach, Michael "Todd" and Cassie Roach and Christopher Joe Roach, all of West Columbia and Randall "Randy" and Hallie Roach, of Leon; her sisters, Reta Smith, of Point Pleasant and Alice Capehart, of Coolville, OH; and grandchildren, Ashley, Leah, Allen, Alexis, Torie, Dakota and Logan and step-grandchildren, Tabitha, Brad and Danielle.

Sue's life will be remembered at 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Verlin "Sampy" Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Zuspan Cemetery, in West Columbia. Visitation will be held at the funeral one hour prior to the service on Friday.
