JoAnn Ruth Errett, of Point Pleasant, passed away May 12, at Pleasant Valley Hospital . She was born July 3, 1927, in Leon, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dencil and Helen Smith Cossin. She attended Point Pleasant High School. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her six children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Errett, Sr. and her brothers Arnold, Carl, Billy Dave, and Jimmy Cossin. She is survived by her sisters Joyce and husband Lewis Harris of Eleanor, WV and Janice Veazey of Point Pleasant . She is also survived by her children, Susie Harmon, Bob and Jeannie Errett, Vikki and Ray Lieving, Dixie and Bruce McDonald, Kevin Errett, and Keith and Kaylene Errett. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 19 at 11:00 am at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home by Pastor Carl Swisher. Burial will follow in the Leon Cemetery . Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday May 18, at the funeral home.

JoAnn will be sadly missed by her family and many friends made over a lifetime in Point Pleasant.
