Joann Janette (Houck) Fowler age 75, passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Point Pleasant, WV.
Joann was born on December 7, 1937 to the late Clarence and Wilma (Walters) Houck in Gallipolis, Oh., on May 1, 1958 Joann was united with Robert A. "Bob" Fowler.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Fowler and a sister Mary Syrus.
Joann was a retired school bus driver of Mason Co., she enjoyed auctions, yard sales, reading and spending time with her family. As a wife, mother, and Christian she was faithful, courageous, strong and brave. She loved her family and loved reading her Bible.
Surviving are two sons, Mike Fowler of Mason, WV., Steven Fowler of Gallipolis, Oh., a daughter, Karen (Chuck) Absten, of Point Pleasant WV, sister Madge Shaffer of Scottown, Oh. and her loving grandchildren; Joey, Mikayla, Sarah, and Austin.
Services will be Sunday July 7, 2013 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1PM and the funeral service officiated by Rev. Anthony Toler beginning at 2PM with the burial at Brewer Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
