Joey "Butch" Walls, 66, passed away on November4, 2014 in Point Pleasant, WV. He was born in Webster Springs WV to the late Clarence and Lelah Wilson Walls. Joe was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence "Bud" Walls and sister, Barbara Purkey. Joe is survived by brother Lee (Rose) Walls and sister, Connie Walls of Findley, Ohio. His brother-in-law Robert Purkey survives in Fairfield, Ohio as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Joe retired from Kuss Corporation, Findley Ohio in 2010. He was formerly a cook for AEP River Operations, Joe has the distinction of being the first male to hold that position. He will be remembered for his great down home cooking and his love of sharing good food with family and friends.

Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion Post 23 of Point Pleasant, WV.

Joe was a kind, generous, and compassionate brother, uncle and friend, May he rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home from 10AM until noon. Funeral service begins at 12PM with a private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers donation in his name may be made to the American Legion Post 23 in Point Pleasant, WV.
