John L. Calandros, 66, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Ohio State University Medical Center, in Columbus. He was a graduate of West Virginia University and also from Atlanta School of Law, with a law degree. He attended Christ Episcopal Church and was the co-owner of Ace High Music and Reality Co. He was the past president of the W.V. Music and Vending Association and was an honorable Kentucky Colonel. John also was a great community supporter of Point Pleasant Youth Athletics.
John was born February 15, 1952, in Charleston, a son to the late Leo. J. and Audrey (O'Brien) Calandros. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mark E. Calandros.
John is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Jami Calandros, of Savannah, GA and Valerie (Chris) Johnson, of Letart; and granddaughter, Norah Faith Johnson.
The family invites you to join them in a funeral mass honoring John at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the Christ Episcopal Church, in Point Pleasant, with Mother Marie Mulford and Father A.J. Stack presiding. There will be no visitation prior to the mass. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
