John William Glover, age 93, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Sunday morning, April 23, 2017, at his home. He was retired from Ohio Brass, in Akron and was also a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was born December 31, 1923, a son to the late Samuel and Ora (Hardwick) Glover. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn (Oshel) Glover; a daughter, Carol Lynn Glover and several brothers and sisters.
John is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn Annette (Bruce) Baker, of Moundsville, WV; sons and daughter-in-law, John Randall Glover, of Columbus and James Brian (Beth) Glover, of Point Pleasant; grandsons, James Tyler (Jordan) Glover and John Cole Glover; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Fr. Prakesh Sebastian officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, on Tuesday evening, April 25, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m.
