Obituary

John Henry Kay, age 46, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, near his home in Southside. John was a farmer and very active within the farming community and was also a truck driver for Thompson Trucking. John was also a Christian. He was born September 6, 1967, in Gallipolis, a son to the late Henry Alexander Kay and Wanda (Bowcott) Kay, of Southside.

In addition to his mother Wanda, John is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa K. and Howard L. Bechtle, of Leon, and their children, Jason and Malea. John is also survived by many extended family and friends who will miss him greatly.

John's life will be remembered at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening, April 4, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be: Chris Hammack, Darin Walker, Chip Sommer, Jimmy Bowser, Neal Muncy and Scott Muncy.
