John William Taylor Jr, age 84 of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Saturday January 29, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Hospital.

John was born September 13, 1937 in Mason, WV to the late John William Sr. and Veda Jean Henry Taylor.

John graduated high school and began work at Philip Sporn Power Plant, he also served his country for 12 years in the Army National Guard. John was a dedicated loyal employee and retired after 37 years of service at Philip Sporn as an electrician. John was vert active in the community and with the youth of Mason Co. as he was a Scout Leader, he umpired for the youth softball league, was a longtime football coach for the Central Biddy League and was an active member of the Jaycee's.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter; Stephanie Lynn Taylor, and two brothers; Michael A. and Kenneth A. Taylor.

John is survived by his loving wife, Joyclyn Carol "Rogers" Taylor, one son; Jay (Barbara) Taylor, grandsons; Dustin (Linda) Taylor and Nicholas Taylor and one great-grandson John Cale Taylor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home and in keeping with John's wishes all services will be private.
