It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Josef Michael Clendenin. Josef was born October 31, 1970, in Huntington West Virginia, to Vicki Rainey Clendenin and George Michael Clendenin. He passed away at his home on October 14, 2024, after years of battling esophageal, colon, and liver cancers.

Josef loved recounting tales of his teenage and young adult years. He loved his friends almost as much as his family and grieved over the loss of many who were lost too soon., but most of all, Josef loved life. And he fought hard to live it.

Survivors include his mother, Vicki Clendenin Wilford; his brother and sister-in-law Michael L. and Angela Clendenin; aunt and uncle Valerie and Joe Jordan; uncle and aunt, James and Toni Clendenin; two nephews, Tyler and Trevor (Emma) Clendenin along with several dear cousins and a host of friends.

May the Lord bless our dear Josef and grant him eternal peace.

Visitation will be held Sunday October 20, 2024, from 1:00 – 2:00 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 2:00. Josef will be interred next to his father at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
