Joseph E. Martin, age 94, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2022, while at Abbyshire Place in Gallipolis, Oh.

Eddie was born July 28, 1927, in Gallagher, WV to the late Albert and Mamie Bailey Martin, he was one of 9 children and a graduate of Dupont High School. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Opal King, brothers, Robert Martin, Earl Martin and Richard Martin and his sons Michael Martin and Jim Martin.

Eddie graduated high school and was off to The United States Army where he proudly served in the European Campaign during WWII.

Eddie returned home after being Honorably Discharged from the Army and settled down in Mason, Co to work and raise his family. He worked many jobs over the years and retired from Goodyear of Mason Co. He loved his family, and you could always find him outside, he loved to garden and just being outside gave him peace.

He is survived by sisters, Betty Seabolt of Portage, IN., Clara Adams of Las Vegas, NV., Sheila (Jim) Whisker of Everett PA., and Margi High of Charleston, WV along with a granddaughter, Lori hill.

There will be a graveside service for Eddie on Wednesday July 13, 2022, at Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens at 1:00
