Julie C. (Pickens) Elliott, 49, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. Julie worked for over 20 years as a Pharmacy Technician and was a full-time mamaw, which she loved. Julie was born on January 17, 1962, in Point Pleasant, a daughter to the late Jerry and Garnet (Stalnaker) Pickens.
Julie is survived by her husband, Dewey Elliott; her son, Jeremy Weaver, of Point Pleasant; her daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Jon Tatterson, of Point Pleasant; her grandchildren, Kameron and Kolton Weaver and Cooper and Keira Tatterson; her granddaughter adopted in love, Bella McKinney; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and David Roach, of Gallipolis; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Nancy Pickens, of North Carolina and Earl Pickens, of Uniontown, PA; her aunts and uncles, Lakin and Regina Stalnaker, Ray and Sue Stalnaker, Bob and Frances Westfall, Joe and Beulah Pickens and Jack Pickens; her very special friends, Lorri Stalnaker, Carla Tulloh and Sherry Potter and many other friends and family.
Friends may call at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Monday evening, July 18, 2011, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services and burial will be held privately, with Brother Chad Foreman and Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send balloons, so that they may be released in her memory.
