Katherine Hussell Terry, 93, a lifelong resident of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away at home on November 13, 2009. She was born on May 26, 1916, to the late Alfred E. Hussell and Virginia Boone Hussell also of Point Pleasant.

She was a member of the Bellemead Methodist Church, the American Legion Aux. Post #23 and VFW Aux. Post #3531. She worked most of her life at Fruth Drug Store, then as a cook at Point Pleasant Junior High School. When she retired she worked as a foster grandparent for 24 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Eugene Terry; a daughter, Barbara Anthony; a son, Keith Eugene Terry; one grandson, Steven Husky and a special niece, Christine Oshel Wandling.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Vicky Burton of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; a nephew, Clarence Oshel; two nieces, Carolyn Glover and Catherine Wandling; a great niece, Connie Byus plus several other great nieces and nephews all of Point Pleasant.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 16, 2009, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Rev. James Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery, Point Pleasant. Visiting hours will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
