Kathorine Jane (Ekers) Cobb, 69, of Ashton, passed away on Thursday evening, March 26, 2026, at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House, in Huntington. She was a homemaker, where she was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and an awesome Nanny! She attended Moore's Chapel Church and was the founder of Western WV Rocks. She was known as "The Rock Lady." She was born May 31, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter to the late Floyd K. Ekers and Mary Frances Ekers, of Ashton. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by two children, Ernest Andrew Cobb and Katrina Rena Cobb; and sister, Rosemary Barker.

In addition to her mother, Kathorine is survived by her loving husband, Teddy Eugene Cobb; her children, Floyd J, (Araceli) Cobb, of Texas, and Mary Ann Cobb Mayes, of Ashton; grandchildren, Trinity, Andrew, Danielle, Logan, Melissa, Grace and Lilly; great-grandchildren, Arielle Rose and Talia Jade; sister, Joyce K. (Timmy) Mayes, of Ashton; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronnie Long officiating. Burial will follow in Pete Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday.
