Larry Coder, age 75, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the home of his friend and caretaker after a long battle with Cancer.

Larry was born in Pont Pleasant, WV on March 27, 1942 to Fay Lawrence Coder and Margaret (Oseland) Coder.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister; Nancy Campbell and a three year old son in 1974.

Larry was an animal lover and enjoyed being outside, you could always find him walking his dogs up and down Mount Vernon Ave. rain or shine.

He also enjoyed sailing in the North channel of Canada as well as the Ohio Coast of Lake Erie with his father. besides sailing he also worked with his father building step railings.

Larry leaves behind a nephew Michael nieces, Rhonda and Michelle step-mother; Jo-Ann special friend and care-giver Patty Whitlock along with his church family.

Memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the Point Pleasant First Church of the Nazarene.

In efforts to help others Larry decided to be a donor to The Marshall University School of Medicine.
