Laura Geraldine "Gerri" Haught Buzzard, 93, died Friday, September 10, 2010, at the Willow Brook Christian Village. She was a retired beautician and instructor at Riggs Lamar Beauty College in Akron, OH and a member of the Sandhill Road Church of Christ.

She was born, April 1, 1917, to the late Michael and Clara Mae (Riggs) Haught, in Beatrice, WV. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Okey L. Buzzard and a brother, Denver P. Haught.

She is survived by her two nieces, Paula Robbins of Columbus, OH and Deborah Parsons of Nelsonville, OH; two nephews, Michael Haught of Cardington, OH and Jim Haught of Columbus, OH and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at the Sandhill Church of Christ, Pt. Pleasant, with Pete Allinder, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Pt. Pleasant, from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2010.
