Leonard F. "Buster" Riffle, 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday evening, June 4, 2024, at Holzer Medical Center. He was formerly the mayor of Point Pleasant and was the first councilman-at-large. He retired from Celanese, in Gallipolis Ferry.  He was born February 21, 1935, a son to the late Frank Leonard and Gertrude (Truett) Riffle. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Wears) Riffle; son, Curtis F. Riffle; daughter-in-law, Lois (Leport) Riffle; granddaughter, Amy Riffle; and siblings, Maye Smith, Faye Hudson, Peggy Gerlach, and Larry Riffle.

Buster is survived by his sons, Kelly Riffle, of Hendersonville, NC, and Brian (Diane) Riffle, of New Haven; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Buster's wishes, there will be no public service. Private graveside and burial will be held in Suncrest Cemetery, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. You can offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
