Lester Lee Errett, Sr., 92, of Point Pleasant, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. Lee was retired from the City of Point Pleasant, as the water superintendent. He was also a member of Frazier's Bottom Church of God. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, where he was a P.O.W. in Sweden. Lee was born May 3, 1922, in Buffalo, WV, a son to the late Samuel and Birdie (Whittington) Errett. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his wife, Addie M. (Rainey) Errett; and his granddaughter, Melissa Nicole Errett.
Lee is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Bill Crawford, of Point Pleasant; son and daughter-in-law, Lester and Diane Errett, of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Jody and Mark Darst, Billy Crawford III, Jennifer and Mat Brown, Christopher Errett and Joshua Errett; and great-grandchildren, Ally and Bekah Darst and Matison and MaKenzie Brown.
Lee's life will be remembered at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens, with Military Honors being rendered by the WV Honor Guard and the American Legion, Mason County Post #23. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
