Lewis Eugene Frum, 79, of Point Pleasant, WV and Vermillion, SD, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at his home in Point Pleasant. He was a retired educator and principal for 32 years in Mason County Schools. Lewis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Lewis was also a member of the Heights United Methodist Church, where he was the choir director for many years and taught the "Win One" Sunday School Class.

Lewis was born June 6, 1944, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Rev. Charles L. and Sylvia J. (Wolfe) Frum. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Theresa (Seipel) Frum; brother, Wayne Frum; and brother-in-law, Tim Bissell.

Lewis is survived by his partner, Victor Shonk, of Vermillion, SD; sons and daughters-in-law, Justin (Amanda) Frum, of Louisa, KY, and Stephen (Kristi) Frum, of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, MacKenzie Frum, Pacey Frum and Kolby Frum, Leigh Wolford and Shelbie Hughes; great-granddaughter, Raelyn Wolford; siblings, John (D.D.) Frum, of Vienna, WV, Patricia Bissell and Lois Jean Frum, both of Point Pleasant; sister-in-law, Lynn Frum, of Buckhannon, WV; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Heights United Methodist Church, with Pastor and friend, Bob Patterson officiating. Immediately following the service, there will be a reception for family and friends in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions be made to Heights United Methodist Sunday School Fund, 2016 North Main Street, Point Pleasant, WV, 25550.
