Lois Lee (Costen) Nibert, 84, of Point Pleasant, died Friday, May 28, 2010, in Holzer Senior Care Center in Bidwell, Ohio. She was born March 1, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Clarence Costen and Ruth (Eads) Costen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, C. Max Nibert and her brothers, Sherwood and Hobert Costen.
Lois Lee was a longtime and familiar school secretary, first at Point Pleasant High School and later at Ordnance Elementary School. She remained active in the Tu-Endie-Wei Garden Club, French Art Colony, Trinity United Methodist Church and other endeavors until stricken with debilitating illness late in 2009.
Surviving are her son, Max L. Nibert and his wife, Jane (Staunton) and a grandson, Finnian Nibert all of Roslindale (Boston), Mass.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Pt. Pleasant, with Reverend Richard DeQuasie, officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from
6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
