LueAnn (Deweese) Smith, 63, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was born on September 14,1961, a daughter of the late Basil and Doris Deweese.  LueAnn was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 73, out of Grantsville, WV.  She was a caregiver, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, and going to the beach. In addition to her parents, LueAnn was preceded in death by brothers, David (Mike) Deweese and Basil (B.R.) Deweese; and sisters Judy Bennett and Gloria Hill.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 20 years, Albert (Bim) Smith of Point Pleasant, WV; her son, John (Amanda) Burton of Point Pleasant; daughter Jessica (James) Matheny of Leon, WV; step-son, Joseph (Joey) Smith of Calhoun County, WV; step-daughter, Jeamaylee Reynolds of Florida; brothers Randy (Teresa) Deweese of Point Pleasant, WV; Benny (Teri) Deweese of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; Tommy (Pam) Deweese of Middleport, OH; sisters, Connie (Roy) Siders, of Bidwell, OH, Janie Foley of, Gallipolis, OH; grandchildren, Nicholous (Nic) Matheny, Ryan Matheny, Marrissa Matheny, Landyn Matheny, Layla Matheny, Laney Matheny, and Elijah Burton. LueAnn will be missed by many extended family and friends.

There will be a service to honor LueAnn at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. J.R. Vance officiating. Burial will be observed privately. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until the time of the service on Thursday.
