Luella Saunders – Patterson was born on October 29,1928 to the late Janey Gille Sanders and Robert Sanders in Logan, West Virginia.  Luella departed life on December 21, 2020.  She was proceeded in death by her husband Ira Patterson Jr., her parents and siblings Estella Wyatt, Hattie Wilson, Jessie McMillan, Tessie McCarthy, and Robert Sanders Jr.

She confessed Christ at and early age.  Luella attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church until her health began to fail.  She participated in many church activities.  She was also a member of the Eastern Stars.

Luella was a practical nurse at Lakin State hospital where she retired after years of distinguish service.

She leaves to mourn her passing, nephews Michael Jenkins and Joe Wilson, Nieces Georgia Wilson and Renae Jenkins, Brothers in laws Robert Patterson (Ernestine), Isaac Patterson, and James Patterson (Barbara)

Luella will be laid to rest on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Highland Memory Gardens, in Pecks Mill, WV, at 12:00 p.m., in a ceremony at the chapel.  Crow-Hussell Funeral Home is caring for the Patterson family.
