Maggie E. (Henry) Parsons, 84, of Henderson, WV, passed away at home, Thursday morning, April 29, 2010, after a long illness. She was born June 12, 1925, to the late George and Addie (Leport) Henry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, George Manford Carper of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; her second husband, David R. Parsons of Point Pleasant; one son, George David Carper , Sr. of Wilkesville, OH; two sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are her children, Melvin S. Henry of Mason, William R. and Barbara Carper, Sr, Park A. Parsons, Michael A. Carper and Patricia S. Fisher, Edna and Michael Fisher, Sr, and Maggie L. and Chris Snead all of Henderson; Larry Carper and Louise Randolph and David R. Carper all of Point Pleasant, Sheila and William Baird, Jr. of Gallipolis Ferry; thirty grandchildren and twenty-two great-granchildren and a special friend and caretaker, Patricia S. Fisher.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2010, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Rev. Marshall Bonecutter, officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, in Henderson.
