Margaret L. (Rodgers) Blaine, 99, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Holzer Assisted Living, surrounded by her family. She was retired from Mason County Schools, where she was a secretary for many years. She was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ. She was born August 22, 1925, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Harvey Curtis and Elsie (McDermott) Rodgers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Byrdie A. Blaine; son, Rodger Blaine; and brothers, Billy Lou Blaine (in infancy), H. Curtis, and R. Lowell Rodgers.

She is survived by her sons Steven L. (Cynthia) Blaine, of Hendersonville, TN, Randall A. Blaine, of Gallipolis Ferry; daughter, Gail (Garrell S.) Mullaney, of Rockfall, CT; daughter-in-law, Judy Blaine; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Clarice June Fannin, of Springboro, OH.

There will be a graveside service at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 14, 2024, at Austin-Hope-McCleod Cemetery, with Minister Robert Leedy officiating.  Visitation will be held at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions in Margaret's memory be made to the Henderson Church of Christ, Walnut St., Henderson, WV, 25106, or to the charity of your choice.
