Mark Gregory Handley, 67, of Point Pleasant, passed away at his home, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was a riverboat captain for River Marine Enterprises. Aside from his career on the river, he had a great love for sailing and loved being on the water. He was born October 20, 1958, in Gallipolis, Ohio, a son to the late Roger and Bonna (See) Handley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Rocky Handley.

Mark is survived by his wife, Edana (Whittington) Handley; son and daughter-in-law, Tyler and Brooklynn Handley, of Gallipolis; and two grandchildren, Macelyn and Silas Handley.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home. There will be a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., the day of the service. You may offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
