Obituary

Martha Lynn Randolph age 63, of Rockwall, TX, formerly of Columbus, OH, died Thursday June 19, 2014 at here home in Rockwall. She was the daughter of the late Vitus Hartley Jr., and Ethal Durst Hartley of Point Pleasant, WV.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, James Durst, Harley Hartley and Roy Hall; aunts Ora Mae Durst Hunt, Grace Hartley Casto and Virginia Hartley Click. In addition the her mother, Lynn is survived by her daughter, Meghan Leigh Randolph of Columbus, OH: husband Michael Duane Randolph of Rockwall, TX; sister Leigh Ann Hartley-Fiery of Chesapeake, VA; niece Blake Hartley-Fiery Shea of Miami, FL; aunt Erma Durst Kapp of Columbus; uncles Bill, Dallas, and Albert Durst of Leon, and Art Ellis Hartley, Sr. of Point Pleasant and a host of cousins and other family and friends.

Martha Lynn Randolph, BSN, MSRN, CPHQ was Vice President of In-Patient Surgical Services and Oncology at Baylor Health Care Systems in Dallas, TX at the time of her death. She graduated from Point Pleasant High School in 1970, attended Marshall University from 1970-71, graduated from Capital University in Columbus with a BS in Nursing in 1976, and an MSN degree later from The Ohio State University. She worked at University and Riverside Hospitals in Columbus and for Ohio Health prior to working for Baylor in 2008.

Funeral services, conducted by Pastor Robert Patterson II, will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday June 30, 2014 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. Visitation will one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Creston Cemetery in Leon, WV.

The Baylor Health Care System Foundation has established a scholarship fund in memory and honor of Lynn Randolph. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to:
