Mary F. (Prunty) Boles, age 85, of Leon, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Holzer Senior Care, in Bidwell. She was born June 25, 1933, in Leon, a daughter to the late Charles and Claudia (Shinn) Prunty.  She was retired from Mason County Schools, after 25 years of being a teacher's aide at Leon Elementary.  She was also a member of the Leon Baptist Church.

Mary is survived her husband of 65 years, Franklin Boles; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Ralph Kelvington, of Letart; son, Gary Boles, of Leon; grandchildren, Rachel Reynolds, of Point Pleasant, and Brian and Betsy Kelvington, of Letart; great-granddaughters, Katherine and Audrey Reynolds; and her sister, Shirley McDade, of Granville, Ohio.

Mary's life will be remembered at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Joe Hammack officiating. Burial will follow in Leon Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday.
