Mary F. Bowles, age 79, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Arbors of Gallipolis, in Gallipolis, OH.

She was born April 28, 1945 in Plymouth, WV, to the late Clarence and Thelma (Walker) Roach. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, James Roach; and five sisters; Viola Craigo, Barbara Jahn, Cloretta Dyer, Alice Lewis, and Ruth Cox.

Mary retired from Pleasant Valley Hospital where she spent years working as a nurses aide, besides the hospital she also spent some time working as greeter at Gino's in Point Pleasant.

Mary is survived by her children, Guy N. Sayre Jr., Tamara (George) McCoy, and Jennifer (Chris) Hicks, grandchildren; David (Katlyn) Wamsley, Kelsea (Scott) Casto, Rylee Sayre, Dylann Sayre, Jacob Hicks, Olivia Hicks and Emilee Leach; three great-grandkids, Karis "Apple" Wamsley, Brody Casto and Zoe Casto; one sister, Betty Owens; and her brother, George (Betty Lou) Roach; along with her special friends at Arbors and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Arbors of Gallipolis for their care and compassion over the past year, as well as Hospice for the care they provided.

Services for Mary will be at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 2024, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service officiated by Robert Patterson, II, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
