Mary Lee Hudson, 81, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, while at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House, in Huntington, WV. Mary was a secretary for many years, retiring from Texas A&M, and working in recent years for NACS. She was a much-loved sister, aunt, great-aunt, and cousin.

Mary Lee was born on December 31, 1944, at her home in Point Pleasant to the late Leo Plants and Claire Mae (Gill) Plants. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis E. (Plants) Stephens of Point Pleasant, Betty (Plants) Workman of Bryan, Texas, Vonda (Plants) Jordan of Point Pleasant, and also beloved nephews Ron Jarrell and Rick Jarrell of Point Pleasant.

Mary is survived by brother Jack Plants and wife Vanessa and sons, of Point Pleasant; sisters, Doris Plants Jarrell of Point Pleasant, Debra Plants Cox of Roswell, Georgia; brother-in-law Bill Workman, of Bryan, Texas; and many beloved nephews and nieces.

There will be a funeral service at 12:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. You may offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
